TECDUR®īs base polymer is polybuthylenterephtalat (PBT), a material with high heat
resistance, high stiffness and hardness. Parts made from TECDUR® compounds can be
highly dynamically stressed and have extremely good friction and abrasion properties.
TECDUR® has also good chemical resistance and a low tendency to crack under tension.
In addition it shows good dimensional stability due to its low moisture retention. |

Glass fibre reinforcement up to 50%. Other reinforcements with glass pellets, minerals,
carbon fibres and aramid fibres. Also dry and low temperature impact types, flame
retardant treatments, antistatic treatments, heat stabilised types and laser writable types.
Types for tribological applications with MoS2, PTFE, graphite and silicone. Combinations of
treatments are possible. In principle all colours are possible, as long as the individual
components permit. |
